Online Yoga Classes Winter 2024

March 5, 12, 19, 26 & April 9, 16, 23, 30
No class on April 2, the week of Easter Monday
Classical Hatha Yoga is sequenced to have a relaxed pace. Poses will work with core activation, strengthening postural muscles & flexibility. Suitable for pregnant students.
For these online yoga classes you will need a computer or laptop or tablet, something with a bigger screen than a phone is recommended. You would download the free Zoom app and while you could also get a free account if you’d like, you don’t need the account, just the app. If you’d like, I will provide a phone intake and familiarization with zoom and a follow-up FREE ONLINE ZOOM APPOINTMENT TO GET YOU COMFORTABLE WITH USING ZOOM.
To join each class, I would send you a link to the class, you click on it and you would be prompted to open the app.
I encourage students to get set up at least 10 minutes before class starts so that we can start and end on time.

Registration after the start date of a session
If you register after a session has started, you will not be charged for classes that have already been held. There is a $5 administration fee. Contact me to find out what the pro-rated fee is for late registration.

NEW STUDENTS
- If you are a new student, I would like to spend some time getting to know you and any concerns you have about doing yoga. We will explore different poses to give me an idea of your comfort level with the physical aspect of class; and to give you a chance to explain any conditions you have that I would need to know about. So we would need to book an online zoom visit for a free, short private intake session.

YOGA FOR KNITTERS – TEXTERS – MOUSERS (you know who you are!)
No yoga experience is required. Pretzel-free yoga guaranteed!
This series of 6 classes will bring ease to the mind and body at the same time as improving function. Tight shoulders? Neck? Wrists or forearms getting in a knot from using your needles or your mouse? Posture affected by all that sitting?
We will focus on poses and movement patterns that will:
- improve posture (which is at the root of so many fatigue and pain issues);
- work on core stability to support your spine for good posture and better breathing;
- improve range of motion in joints that are overworked;
- relieve tension in muscles that are used repetitively in your hobby or your work;
- provide you with quick exercises and stretches to bring you relief that you can do at the end of knitting a few rows, or while waiting for your computer to boot up or for that reply to your text;
- bring you a sense of deep relaxation.
These classes will be conducted via Zoom. Once there is enough interest a session of 6 weeks will be scheduled.

PRIVATE SESSIONS
Call to book a private session, scheduled to meet your convenience. Call for an assessment or for more info.
Classes can be booked weekly, every other week, or once a month. Over twenty years of experience as an Exercise Physiologist working with medical conditions, injury and back rehabilitation, military fitness, and pre-natal Yoga. Your classes will be tailored to your goals for exercise therapy, Yoga, Pilates, or a fitness workout.
Initial Session $80
This includes a detailed phone intake prior to the first session and a 60-90 minute class. We will explore options that are safe and effective for you. You will receive a handout with easy to follow instructions for a home practice.
A non-refundable deposit of $40 will be required prior to the phone intake. The remaining $40 will be paid at the time of the first session.
Subsequent Private Sessions $60/hour
